Very cute etsy stuff for a good cause. Emergency vet bills are the worst.
Urgent, please help my friend’s dog receive lifesaving surgery!
My friend Ran Case of A Case Of Random on Etsy rushed her dog Kabuki to the vet after she found her unable to walk and shaking uncontrollably yesterday. The vet says she has a tumor on her spleen and needs immediate surgery to remove the tumor along with her spleen before she suffers another, and potentially fatal, internal bleed. The estimate on the surgery is $2500…which is $2500 more than she has after scraping together $900 for the emergency care.
To raise funds, she’s offering 20% off on everything in her Etsy store where she sells beautiful handmade glass and scale mail jewelry. See her blog here for details and coupon code, and if you can help, even a little… everything helps.
The coupon code KABUKI20 will give you 20% off anything at her etsy store, acaseofrandom.etsy.com
Please pass this on to your followers. Everything helps!
It would mean a lot if you guys could please reblog this… Even if you can’t afford to help with the surgery costs by getting something from her shop (we own several pieces of her work and it’s gorgeous and inexpensive), one of your followers might…
Some of these are super pretty!
I gave the butterfly barrettes in the photo last year for birthday presents (those and the flowers are only $5) and have been saving up for a custom order from her. The scale mail flower bracelets and hair sticks are really cool and unique, and I love the Steampunk orchids with little gears at the center of their petals.
She’s been sitting up with Kabuki making additional items for her store literally nonstop, trying to raise the amount the vet is asking for… please take a look and reblog!
Signal boost! Help out if you can!!!
If someone I loved and saw regularly wanted to buy this and wear this I would clap for joy every single time they turned to the right. I mean. Prince hoodie! Prince on the hood!!! It is ever so delightful. They would need to buy it in purple, natch.
BABE ALERT on Etsy has awesome accessories but even better branding.
"Jewelry handcrafted using natural crystal materials. One of a kind gems for the metaphysical babe.
Unique fashionable scarves for quirky fierce creatures.
Choice vintage finds for the truly wild.”
I’m a metaphysical babe! I’m quirky and fierce!
New Post at QueerFatFemme.com: "Why you should buy Elisha Lim’s calendar right now"
And here’s a direct link to the calendar.
I heard today from fellow Shop Girl Taueret and Re/Dress volunteer Shop Girls Jenna and Marissa that the Forever 21 that houses Faith 21 in Times Square is open 24 hours beginning Black Friday. ”Imagine, going to Faith 21 at 4AM!” they said.
I said, “The only things I want to be doing at 4 AM are sleeping or drinking.”*
Then we decided that drinking and then going to Faith 21 would be dangerous on the pocketbook but utterly delightful. This may become a Plus Size Party Girl blog post on queer fat femme soon.
*There is one other thing I’d want to be doing.
What area within 3 hours driving distance of NYC has the best thrifting? I’m talking plus sized clothes, purses and jewelry. Leslie and I want to take a road trip.
Check out Luka’s line of bowties! Totally cute, lots of styles to choose from. Hobbitcreations.tumblr.com!

I’m sad that there isn’t a piece like the amazing face sweater dress in the new Beth Ditto collection. But I am happy to own this face sweater dress (and get compliments and photographs taken every time I wear it). I also believe in fashion abundance and I am sure something as unique, comfortable and miraculous will come into my life even if it isn’t designed by Beth Ditto.
To that end just today I scored the GREATEST vintage style swing coat originally from Newport News and brought unto me by the Re/Dress. I used all of my store credit and it was worth it.
Shopping, bargains and personal style bring me great joy.
Hot pink octopus necklace with a moustache. I die.
