This is a collaborative station between me and Leslie. We loved it yesterday and I added a couple of seeds to round it out this morning.
Green Day (lots of Nirvana and Hole)
Bikini Kill (lots of Sleater-Kinney, occasionally the Gossip)
Florence + The Machine (plays a lot of Modest Mouse and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros)
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Taylor Swift (I require sappy country every few days)
"Fancy" by Reba
"Lip Gloss" by Lil’ Mama
"Short Skirt, Long Jacket" by Cake
One of our favorite regulars, Mimi, who is a fabulous, stylish woman in her 60s, just complimented my Dolly Parton selection. “Finally, music I like playing here!” Hopefully the Beastie Boys stay off until she goes. Mimi wore a coat she bought at Re/Dress to a retirement party for a friend and it was “the talk of the party.” She also always goes around the corner to this Chinese place on Smith St. to buy one egg roll. She claims they are the “best in Brooklyn.”

— Deb, my boss, calling to check on The Re/Dress. I told her about Leslie going to get Chipotle for lunch, putting out the sundress stash, the lack of change in the registers, but I forgot to mention we’re experimenting with only one Pandora seed today. Adam Lambert. Hour three is getting a little wild, the live version of “Enter Sandman” just played.
Today a woman came into the store for a black formal gown to wear in an opera performance. Bunny located the perfect one that fit her exactly in about 2 minutes. 10 minutes in and out of the door. Incredible.
"Dancing in the Dark," Bruce Springsteen
"9 to 5," Dolly Parton
"Emotions," Mariah Carey
Actually we listened to the exact same station yesterday, too. The love continues on. This station is basically perfect 80s/90s goodness with the occasional great contemporary song.
The Re/Dress anniversary sale continues! 20% off everything in the store. Mama bought a new pair of boots yesterday. Just saying…
"Fame," Irene Cara
"The Long Way Around," Dixie Chicks
"Cherry Bomb," The Runaways
"I don’t know why, but I always feel good when I come into this store. Maybe it’s the good energy."—Customer

Also, this cute Canadian butch just came into the store. Let us all give thanks for butch abundance.
We’re having our huge INDIE+ designer trunk show today and tomorrow. Come check it out and visit me with treats and compliments.
