“Earthquake,” Ssion. Love this song, love the video. Why is Cody Critcheloe so captivating?
SSION’s new video is a coming of age love story between an enigmatic instigator and an alien-brother-lover resulting in the purest form of magik with a bit of feminism and Las Vegas showmanship thrown in for good measure, all shot in Kansas City.

This is the Butch associate attorney in my office, Erica (the senior partner is also a dapper sartorially inclined Butch). I described her outfit on my Twitter when she came into the office after a day of deposition work, while I was working on a gay divorce. @Supermattachine asked “Where does this butch shop? Serious question.”
Stephen Ira, here is her answer:
“I shop lots of places. I blend shopping in men’s departments and women’s departments strategically. I generally buy women’s pants. I really like Joe’s Jeans (a brand of overpriced but wonderful jeans). I shop at Bloomingdales a lot for suits. My suits are either Theory or Calvin Klein based on my price point that day or time of year. Theory is a lot more expensive than Calvin Klein. I buy a lot of button downs from Gap and Banana Republic. I shop at thrift stores in Brooklyn a lot. Favorites include Odd Twin, but I kind of like them all. I make a bee line for the vests section, and their ties and bow ties. I know how to tie a bow tie, not well. It takes me a really long time and I generally am running late so I don’t wear them very much. I like Kenneth Cole a lot, this tie is Kenneth Cole. So are these shoes.” [The shoes, not pictured, are really foxy. Erica is open to more outfits of the day.]
I have a dream job, y’all. And if you’re in NY state and need an LGBT boutique law firm let me know.
I may love But I’m a Cheerleader more now as a grown-up with a more fully-fleshed out sense of personal style because of all the PINK AND TEAL AND FAKE FLOWERS. I dream of living in a dollhouse. And also this gif collection is magically full of longing glances and those first, tentative touches.

I’m a homosexual!! Remember when just thinking that was horrifiying? And now I say it about 60 times a day with great reverence. Hooray for the relinquishing of gay shame and embracing every sparkly part of you!
